The United Church of Christ of Southbury (UCCS) and Mattatuck Unitarian Universalist Society (MUUS) will co-sponsor a community event to show the documentary film “Home of the Brave: When Southbury Said No to the Nazis” at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, November 21, in the UCCS main sanctuary at 283 Main St North. In addition to showing “Home of the Brave”, the organizers will also show “Honoring the Brave” which depicts the events of the week-end the documentary premiered including how the community responded.
