Other Religious Education Program Information

Children's Chapel: Children's Chapel runs the second Sunday of each month during the typical "Sunday School" time. Children's Chapel provides an opportunity for all MUUS children and youth to come together for a special worship service or activity. Children's Chapel typically are run by one of the RE classes or by a guest MUUS volunteer.

Informal RE: Informal R.E. is an adult-supervised, multi-age recreational program offered to children and youth in place of the regular R.E. Program on dates that typically have low attendance for families with children (e.g. summer months, holiday weekends). No formal religious education is taught . The nursery is available for parents to use with infants and toddlers, but no adult supervision is offered.

Winter Intergenerational Services and RE Sunday: The children and youth of the RE Program plan and present the Sunday service for the entire MUUS community on thee two Sundays. THe Winter Intergeneration Service for 2005-06 is December 18th and the RE SUnday is May 21st. The Sunday before Thanksgiving and Easter Sunday are also Intergenerational services.
