MUUS Men's Group OutingThe MUUS Men's Group went on its first outing since the group's inception in November 2006. Mike Ingber came up with the idea of going to a New Haven Cutters' baseball game and took the lead to organize the event. We had a total of 17 attendees consisting of eight men and nine youth, seven males and two females. The Cutters won by a score of 11 to 2 over the Quebec Capitales. In addition to the game, there was an amusement area where the youth got to go on rides and test their aim and accuracy at a pitching booth. There was also plenty of tasty ball park food from hotdogs to fried dough to ice cream. No one left hungry. The Cutters' mascots Tripper and Chubs provided some entertainment as well. They had fun interacting with the fans. Ask Mike Ingber about Tripper! The activities in between innings also provided some laughs. This was a great way to begin what we expect will be a first of many activities sponsored by the Men's Group. We had an excellent turn out and everyone had a lot of fun. | |
